Grommet is an online platform dedicated to helping people discover innovative products that help you live a little better, and support small businesses.
We were approached by their in-house creative team to produce an animated promo to launch their new brand identity. The aim was to develop a piece of content for online promotion and as advertising for TV-on-demand platforms that would promote the platform, widen Grommet’s audiece and introduce their current followers to a fresh new look. They wanted a video that was fun, vibrant, quirky and true to who they really were





As Grommet were hoping to find new customers, we worked to create a striking and engaging piece that would instantly catch people's attention. The script was key so we worked with a few different scriptwriters to carefully craft the messaging with the right fun and quirky tone. We created some 3D rendered objects mixed with photography that showcased the intriguing products they sell—then wrapped it all up with some animated graphics that expressed their new brand - which is all about bold colours, fonts and interesting visuals
The final deliverable was a 30s hero animation. Grommet liked the video so much that they later commissioned a holiday season version too.

Our collaboration with Grommet successfully translated a complex, multi-category retail message into a cohesive, high-energy narrative. By blending 3D motion design with real product photography, Buff Motion delivered a dynamic online video advertisement that perfectly captured the client's quirky, vibrant essence.
The campaign resonated so strongly with their audience and internal stakeholders that the initial 30-second hero animation was instantly extended—with Grommet commissioning our studio to produce a dedicated festive holiday version to drive seasonal traffic.
