One of our core beliefs is that a happy team flourishes and produces great work together. We aim to provide a supportive environment where everyone feels valued. As part of this continued focus, we incorporate the following as part of any role with us:
The company was founded on a desire to strike a good balance between work and home life. So whilst we’re passionate about what we do, it’s important to us that every person on the team leaves the office on time. It’s very rare to see us working into the night or on weekends, but if it happens then we give that time back in lieu.
Everyone gets direct access to the management team and is encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas. We’re a young, dynamic business; we’re not afraid to make changes if we see the value in trying something new so there’s plenty of opportunity to have an impact.
We work together to support people’s growth and development. We have a solid review process to regularly reflect on successes and failures. We aim to nurture a safe space to give and receive honest feedback with the goal of continually reflecting and improving.
We keep regular tabs on industry standards when it comes to salary and aim to reward people fairly with regular pay reviews. We’re also registered with the Brighton & Hove Living Wage Campaign and have a workplace pension scheme in place.
We have a super studio space in the centre of Brighton with plenty of natural light and everything you could want on our doorstep. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and we’re surrounded by great food and shops.
On top of our holiday allowance, we close the studio for between Christmas and New Year to give everyone more time to enjoy with friends and family. We organise regular social events, hold weekly breakfast meetings, and finish early on Fridays for a Show & Tell, and to share work that inspires us.
In January 2022, we took part in the Great Place To Work employee survey to learn a bit more about our workplace culture and where we can improve. The survey contained 67 statements about working here covering topics like Community, Fairness, Collaboration, Respect and Communication.
You can learn more about the results in our Impact Report.
We produced an Impact Report for our last year of
business, discussing what we’ve achieved and how we
want to improve in the coming year – for our team, clients,
communities and planet.

We’re a member of 1% for the Planet. This means we give at least 1% of our annual revenues to projects and causes chosen by each team member that positively impact the environment.
We’re proud to be a Company Partner with Creative Lives in Progress: an inclusive careers resource to transform the way emerging creatives access, understand and connect with the industry. We sponsor their work and support them by partnering to deliver portfolio review events.
We use the brilliant B1G1 platformto make a difference in the lives of others through the work we do every day. B1G1 uses a buy one, give one concept, which we’ve woven into our business practices. For each feedback form completed, we donate to the Chainsaw Buyback program to support former loggers to find a new income.
We’re a Climate Positive Workforce. We use the Ecologi platform to offset the team’s carbon footprint by planting trees and funding carbon reduction projects. The Buff forest is now over 3,000 trees strong and grows every month!
