The Challenge

Fresco is the all-in-one platform for seamless connected cooking. Over the years, the company has developed into smart kitchen technology from its original kitchen scales product. They wanted a video for the unveiling of their new brand name and design. The brief was to create something visually clean and punchy that clearly reflected the script, and help create a buzz around the re-launch.

The Solution

Fresco supplied the script and brand guidelines for us to begin work. From this, we developed the storyboard and animation look & feel. The brand lent itself to working in a simple 2D style, which also worked for the ambitious deadline. Fresco’s clean and minimal brand graphics inspired the design for the scene layouts, helping to set the style for future videos.

We worked on creating a characterful animation style to portray the new brand tone in motion. We used text on screen throughout the animation while incorporating iconography, photography from their pre-existing stock library and playful transitions to tie it together.

The final delivery was a 60 second animation for use online.
